Sports and Recreation
Renovating, recreating and improving sports fields and facilities that were damaged or destroyed by the tsunami with the provision of sports equipment packages and sports programs available to young people, helping to provide a safe, secure environment for children and adolescents to become involved and engaged in healthy recreational activities.
The Sports and Recreation Projects aim to help create the possibility to improve the physical, psychological, emotional and social development amongst children and adolescents while helping to promote social harmony, gender equality and cross religious interaction through play.

Goals for Galle
Open spaces, playgrounds and sports fields with school and community based programs play a vital role in children and adolescents lives, providing a safe arena in which to meet and play.
Goals for Galle primary objectives are to renovate, rebuild and provide safe, secure sporting environments, supply football equipment packages and organise weekend football coaching programs for girls and boys affected by the tsunami or where previously unavailable to the young people of Galle district.
Cricket for Galle
Project Galle received a multitude of letters from local schools and sports clubs requesting our help to renovate, replace and improve their sports facilities that had been damaged, lost or destroyed by the tsunami.
Cricket for Galle is a project designed to renovate damaged practice cricket nets and to provide cricket equipment to children in schools, cricket clubs and IDP camps, enabling a greater number of young people the opportunity to participate in Sri Lanka’s favourite sport.
